General Manager, WVOB, Bel Air, 1968-78. Majority stockholder, WAMD, Aberdeen, 1978-2003 (morning show host, 1978-2003). Fellow, Academy for Excellence in Local Governance, School of Public Policy, University of Maryland, 2011. Member, Large County Coalition, 2015-, and Maryland Rural Counties Coalition, 2017- of Maryland Association of Counties. Member, Maryland Rural Health Association, 2017-. Life Member, Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company. Past president and founder, Ripken Museum, Aberdeen. Past president, Bel Air Chamber of Commerce. One of Maryland's Five Outstanding Young Men, Maryland Jaycees, 1967.
