The Board of License Commissioners regulates the retail sale of alcoholic beverages in Dorchester County (Code Alcoholic Beverages Article, secs. 19-101 through 19-2802).

In Dorchester County, the County Council, ex officio, serves as the Board of License Commissioners (Code Alcoholic Beverages Article, secs. 19-101 through 19-205).
