Assistant State's Attorney, Montgomery County, 1976-96. Member, Alternative Community Service Commission, City of Rockville, 1977-79. Member, Commission for Women, Montgomery County, 1990-96 (legislative chair, 1994-96); Community Advisory Board, Pre-Release Center, Montgomery County, 1991-96.

Born in Hagerstown, Maryland, September 23, 1947. Attended McDonogh School, Owings Mills, Maryland; Columbia University, B.A. (political science), 1969. Served in U.S. Army (saxophonist, U.S. Army Band), 1969-72. New York University School of Law, J.D., 1975. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1975. Member, Maryland State Bar Association; Montgomery County Bar Association. Member, Montgomery County Inns of Court, 1992-94. Outstanding Jurist Award, Montgomery County Bar Association, 2017. Participated in musical theater as director, musical director, actor, and accompanist. Died in Maryland, May 24, 2017.
