Law clerk to Judge Raymond H. Kane, Howard County Circuit Court, 1985-86. Member, Maryland State Bar Association (litigation section council). Board of Directors, Roland Park Roads and Maintenance Corporation, 1992-97 (past president & vice-president); Roland Park Civic League, 2003-09 (president, 2006-08); Caroline Center, 2013-. Director's Award for excellence in law enforcement, Executive Office of United States Attorneys, 2007. Special Commendation for outstanding service, U.S. Justice Department, 2011.
