Member, Francis Scott Key Lodge no. 91, Fraternal Order of Police (president, 2002-06); Fervency Lodge no. 200, Point of Rocks, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons; American Legion; National Rifle Association; Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command Alumni Association. President, "Brunswick Junior Railroaders" Youth Football, Cheerleading and Lacrosse Organization, 2011-. Award for Life Saving, Frederick County Sheriff, 2006.
